What My Clients are Saying

Establishing relationships with my clients is important to me and I love to hear from them regarding my services and expertise, and am extremely appreciative of their recommendations and referrals.

Feedback from one of my satisfied customers:

“I smoked for 30 years and have now quit for 150 days. I used to wake up every hour, all night long for a puff. Kim was a great support. It is still hard but she definitely gave me a running head start. I really recommend it. I have saved over $2,000 already!” — Craig Wilson

COVID-19 still stressing you out?

This current environment that we’re living in can really take its toll on our systems and consequently our quality of life. Since at least 75% of all our health problems can be linked to nervous stress, reflexology is a valuable tool for supporting the well-being of anyone and a therapy you may find especially helpful during these trying times.

Reflexology is a very gentle, non-invasive form of healing that can bring immense relief and dramatic changes. It’s a technique that uses pressure-point massage usually on the feet (but also on the hands and ears). It deals with the underlying principle that these pressure points or reflexes relate to every single cell of the body. The Chinese believe that reflexology stimulates the body into healing itself. By working these reflexes the flow of energy throughout the entire body is restored and assisted in regaining or maintaining balance.

So how can Calgary Laserworks and Reflexology help with your health? Some of the benefits include:

– Helps with relaxation
– Reduces stress & anxiety
– Fights depression
– Lessens fatigue & enhances energy
– Improves blood circulation
– Relieves body pains

If you’re considering a reflexology appointment call 403-301-3730 to arrange your appointment today.

Feeling a little stressed & anxious?

Stress and anxiety can interrupt the smooth flow of energy throughout the body. Low level laser therapy has actually been shown to help energy flow smoothly again, helping to reduce stress and lower anxiety.

The calming nature of laser therapy is known to decrease heart rate, lower blood pressure and relax muscles. The laser stimulates the release of endorphins, those natural “feel-good” chemicals, creating a sense of overall well-being.

Low level laser treatments involve a cold, soft laser beam applied to specific energy points on the body (ears, hands, arms, wrist and feet). By targeting the energy points associated with stress and anxiety you will feel the tension leave your body.

While everyday stress is part of all our lives, and how we manage it contributes to our quality of life, sometimes life’s circumstances can make stress and anxiety difficult to deal with on our own. Before your stress becomes chronic (long term) perhaps low level laser therapy is worth a try. Once the dark & heavy feelings of stress are relieved you will feel more confident in your ability to cope with the challenges of life, and ultimately, a happier, healthier existence will be restored.

Another Canada Day is virtually right around the corner

What are we celebrating anyway?

Canada Day celebrates the birthday of Canada. On July 1, 1867 Canada became a new federation with its own constitution by signing the Constitution Act – formerly known as the British North America Act.

This year we should take a moment to appreciate our country and the unity and strength we have shown during the COVID-19 pandemic. While there have been serious social and economic costs, our adherence to the restrictions put in place have made a difference. Let’s keep it going…

Happy Birthday Canada!

CALGARY LASERWORKS HAS REOPENED

Thanks, Kim

Calgary Laserworks can help you manage the overwhelming effects of stress & anxiety

Most of us have many responsibilities and worries, especially during these uncertain times. If we don’t manage our worries well, we leave our emergency stress response turned “on” most of the time. The more your body’s stress system is activated, the harder it is to shut off.

Chronic stress disrupts nearly every system in your body and can lead to serious health problems. It can raise our blood pressure, increase the risk of heart attack and stroke, and suppress our immune systems. Not to mention it can speed up the aging process, and really, who needs that?!

Managing stress in our lives is all about taking charge and being in control of our thoughts, our emotions, our schedule, our environment (even in our current circumstances), and the way we react to and ultimately handle our issues.

Calgary Laserworks will help you manage the overwhelming effects of stress and anxiety and empower you to live a healthier, happier life…without meds!

This May long weekend will look a little different

With the Victoria Day Weekend approaching, there are still many public health restrictions in place to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and many businesses and services will be closed.

Unfortunately it won’t be May long weekend cottage life and camping as usual either as all National and Alberta parks are closed to visitors and Parks Canada is recommending to ‘stay home’. If you are planning on heading out, be sure to check your local area rules and regulations beforehand.

Even though our weekend dreams may be dashed, it’s important to remember that these circumstances aren’t forever. There will be many more long weekends ahead to enjoy when safe to do so, and with everyone working together to get through this, hopefully that time isn’t in the too distant future. Let’s do our part and make the best of our uncertain times.

In the meantime, it’s going to be a gorgeous summer-like weekend and the perfect time to engage in activities that help you relax, decompress and reduce stress and anxiety.

Have a safe and relaxing long weekend.
